The story quickly fell apart when I didn't have any cheese with me. This of course was explained by saying that I forgot the cheese. And anything else from the store. The week went by and the lie became worse. Until Saturday came and I had the ring. It was perfect. I took my beautiful girlfriend to the gazebo in the park, danced with her to our song, told her how much I loved her, got down on one knee, and asked her to make me the happiest man in the world and marry me. thank her enough for everything she has done! Danita is such a wonderful asset to the Neckers team in DeWitt. When Josh originally started to shop for engagement rings he found a couple that he liked plus Danita was going to have some mailed in for us. He then brought my mom and sisters in to help decide, as they were walking in the doors of Neckers, so was the FedEx package that had my diamond in it. Danita knew that the one package being delivered was going to be the most perfect diamond for my engagement ring. We got engaged in November of 2015. Josh and I were setting up our Christmas tree and to my surprise he got down on one knee and the ring was in an ornament, that Neckers provided us! Once wedding planning went into a full swing, I'll never forget picking my engagement ring up from being sized and Danita handing me the blue Neckers box. I called Josh on the way home and told him that our wedding colors are going to be Neckers Blue! When it came to picking out wedding bands Josh and I opted to change the band that my diamond sat in. We got married on December 3, 2016. Danita once again went above and beyond to help Josh pull off such a meaningful surprise that day. As a wedding day gift, Josh saved my original engagement band and had my birthstone (a pearl) set in it! I cannot thank Neckers in Dewitt, the whole team, and especially Danita for the outstanding service they provided us during our journey and making us feel so welcoming walking into their store.
