Get to know a little bit about our Charity for the month of March, Center for Active Seniors, Inc.!
First opened in 1973, the Center for Active Seniors, Inc. was situated in downtown Davenport. CASI is now conveniently located on West Kimberly Road in Davenport and boasts 40,000 square feet of activity and event space, serving residents of Scott County and the greater Quad Cities area.
Their mission is to provide the needs of older adults, fosters respect, dignity and quality of life through social activities, learning, health & fitness, and so much more.
CASI has a professional staff dedicated to the advocacy of seniors and all issues facing our aging population.
They also operate the only adult day services facility in Eastern Iowa, serving seniors with early onset dementia, specific physical needs and seniors who enjoy a daily routine filled with physical and mental activities and social interaction. Jane’s Place also provides caregivers with much needed respite and allows caregivers to continue to work.
Every year, CASI hosts a St. Patrick’s race in downtown Davenport to raise funds. We have been a proud sponsor for several years.
